Proverbs 8:17-21 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
We discover that the Love of God is the greatest treasure,
to be experienced in part here and fully in the
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”
This is the Key to relationship with our Lord and Saviour.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
It is evident that the Lord wants desperately to reveal himself to us. Relationships that endure are based on reciprocating love.
The reward of eternal life is not earned; it is given; a sacrifice of love (for God so loved the world).
Eternal life is received; a gift given as a result of a love relationship with Christ (gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord).
Note: without love there is no giving and receiving of gifts, or treasures.
1. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness
2. My fruit is better than gold, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver
3. That I may cause those that love me to inherit (the heart of God revealed) substance;…I will fill their treasures.
