GOD THE FATHER

LESSON 4

INTRODUCTION (Part 2)

THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS

REVEALS HIMSELF IN CREATION

Rom 1:20        “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Comment        Although the Father is invisible to the eyes of man, yet the evidence that He exists and is very near are shown by the creation of the world, that we can see with our eyes and understand.

THE HEAVENS DECLARE HIM

Ps 19:1            "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork!"

THE LORD SPEAKS TO US WITHOUT WORDS

Ps 19:2            "Day unto day (He) uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge."

Comment        By the rising of the sun in the East each day to give life.

By the rain that gives drink to the thirsty earth.

By night after night when man ends his toil of the day rests in sleep, until the sun rises again.

They all have a spiritual significance in our lives.

HIS VOICE IS HEARD THROUGHOUT THE WORLD WITHOUT SPEECH

Ps 19:3            "There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard!"

Comment        The heavens speak without words by the things that are made.

Gen 1:1           “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Comment        There could be millions of years between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2.

Gen 1:2           “…Darkness was upon the face of the deep…”

Comment        This is a perfect picture of man as God sees him without the light which is Christ.

Summary:       Think of the complexity and diversity of God’s creation, 6000 years of interaction and close scrutiny, man still cannot understand it.            Is 55:8-11
