HOW GOD THE FATHER REVEALS HIMSELF

THE EAGLE

Description 1) One of the largest species of birds.

2) The Eagle has very keen sight.

3) Has great strength and rapidity of flight.

4) The Eagle is called the "King Of Birds."

 

Emblems 1) U.S.A. Ten Dollar Coin.

2) Military standard of Ancient Rome.

3) Adopted by France, under Napoleon.

4) The Eagle is emblazoned on the National Emblem on the Coat of Arms.

 

GOD REVEALS HIMSELF IN THE EAGLE

Deut 32:9‑12 "For The Lord's portion is His people."

Deut 32:11 Key Verse:

 

1) As an Eagle stirreth up her nest,

2) Fluttereth over her young,

3) Spreadeth abroad her wings,

4) And taketh them, beareth them on her wings.

 

ILLUSTRATION

1) Builds her nest on the highest cliffs or crags.

2) Has no enemies but man.

3) Young are very vulnerable.

4) When they are very young the Eagle does not let them get comfortable (Stirs up the nest).

5) Flutters over her young to show them she is there.

6) At the proper time they are tested (put out of the nest).

7) She spreads her wings and bears them up until they can fly on their own.

 

 

EAGLES REPRESENT STRENGTH AND FREEDOM

Is 40:31 They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: (In the Spirit) They shall mount up with wings as Eagles...

 

Comment If we have a prayer life now! And wait on the Lord now. We will have our strength in the Spirit renewed, and be ready and waiting for His coming again.
