The Psalm of Faith – Psalm 18 - continued

V     Psalms 18:3  I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

There are three areas in this verse that cover relationship.

This is a very boastful confident statement, much like “The Lord is my Shepherd”.

The Key to Understanding the heart of King David and the heart of the Lord is that when He speaks, his faith is making a declaration, a boast, a show.

“This is my God. This is what he has done. What can you do to me?

Psalms 91 – which is also a triumphant declaration of the Lord.

V     I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Quoted from 2Samuel 22 a song that David sang after the Lord had delivered him from all His enemies and from the hand of Saul.
