Lesson 2: Relationship through Repentance and the Blood of Jesus

In Lesson 1, we spoke of the experience of a personal revelation of Jesus as the Christ. It is a relationship of living with God’s providence and promises for our lives. Hebrews 13:5 “for he hath said I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”. The revelation of Jesus, as the Christ, does not in itself bring about this relationship but rather is the opening or invitation to this relationship. This requires an action or decision on our part. Revelations 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
